I, Thuban Windrider, am a millennia-old shapeshifting (normally blue) Western-type dragon.

I try to carry myself with dignity, and as such, am not generally a violent or threatening creature. I view such stereotypes as unfortunate reflections on the misunderstandings between humankind and my kind. I can shift from full feral form to human form. In feral form, I measure in at a few hundred feet long, with a wingspan approximately the same as my length.

In "human" form, I still maintain my cobalt blue scales, but my form shrinks considerably. I stand about six and a half feet tall, depending on my preferences that day, with equally deep blue eyes. My wings remain, but also shrink down to be just large enough to still make flight possible. My tail also remains, but shrinks to a little over a yard long. Wardrobe varies from day to day, but tends toward comfort rather than style, unless circumstances dictate otherwise. My face maintains a semblance of being draconic, but the proportions shrink somewhat, and the teeth become just a bit less pointed, as a human typically shouldn't be able to rend flesh quite so easily.

I have a fascination with the stars, especially the star from which I gain my name, in the constellation of the Dragon. I can recall the days when that star was the North Star to the ancient Egyptians. I am also very attuned to music, enjoying a wide variety, but especially the type that is danceable. Music is one of the pinnacles of human achievement.

I do have some hair running down the back of my head down to the tip of my tail, a snow white, though in my anthro form I can change my hair color at will.
I am fully capable of breathing fire and flying, and do enjoy flight, but I try to keep my firebreathing under control, lest I accidentally cause property or physical damage. I have an affinity to taking care of and protecting smaller and younger creatures.

I also, of course, have an affinity for other males. :-)
