Details: Every year certain religious denominations recognize November 1 as a day of remembrance for the dearly departed. On this show, The Hot Spot follows that tradition in its own way. We honor those musical artists who've passed on with their own music, and we honor the friends and family of our listeners with songs dedicated to them. While some could see this show as a downer, we at the Hot Spot see this as a necessary moment every so often. After all, if we don't remember those we've lost, how important are they to us, really?
